With or Without Turkey

Although this is the second year we didn’t get to celebrate Thanksgiving Day as a family (last year I was in Florida with my in-laws while DH worked in China and this year DH have to go out of town for a business trip), I still am very thankful for the following blessings in our lives this year, yeah with or without the turkey

♥ My ex-boyfriend. The one whose kisses still make me go weak at the knees.  We’ve been through a lot in the past year and I still love him, more than ever if that is possible. Although his never ending teasing ways can really drives me crazy I’d never have him any other way

♥ The opportunity my DH got to work here especially during the times where a lot of expatriates are losing their jobs and in times where aviation industry has been hit hard by the economic crisis. I’m even thankful that the company in China terminated his contract.

♥ The fact that we got to be a family again, without being separated by distance is a huge blessing.

♥ Being the mother to our almost-three-years-old little boy who continues to teach me more about life than I thought ever possible.

♥ For the opportunity my father achieved to be working in Zambia after the previous company laid everyone off, again, due to economic crisis.

♥ The health of my two parents, brothers, two grandmothers, my big families here, my parents’ in-laws and our families back in the US.

♥ The chance to see my parents & brothers spoiling Lil’ A rotten lol

♥ The old friends I had and the new ones I made this year. You are all so special to me, I am truly blessed to call you friends and our friendships means so much. Yes, you know who you are! Love you!

♥ For those who had hurt and betrayed me, as they taught me how true friendships suppose to be.

♥ For the upcoming opportunity to celebrate Christmas with my families in Indonesia again after 4 Christmases abroad and hopefully the chance to see my 96 years old grandmother after that in Makassar.

There are so many stuffs that I am thankful for and can’t put it down one by one because I will get so lost since there are so plenty and abundantly.

Hopefully you will have a blissful Thanksgiving Day this year.
