A Little Teaser

Here’s what we rode yesterday

the coolest Singapore Flyer

At a height of 165m, Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel and is set to be one of Asia’s biggest tourist attractions.

Featuring fixed capsules the size of a bus, the spectacular monument is capable of holding up to 784 passengers. Each capsule has a 28 person capacity and each revolution takes approximately 30 minutes….- From their website

We were hoping to catch the glimpse around sunset time but lo and behold the sun didn’t set until after 7 PM!

This is soooo awesome! I love reading your blog because I love seeing places that I’ve never been to! I haven’t ever really wanted to go to Singapore until I saw your pics! I hope I can go there someday!

Oh & btw, you should write a Mommy Monologues Featurette post too! But don’t do it if you don’t want to, but I think my readers would love to hear from you!

Hi Kate, you’re such a sweetheart! Thank you! This is actually my first time exploring Singapore after so many years of just passing it through for transits between flights hahaha, it’s so colorful here, all the people walking reminds me so much of NYC :D

I would love to write for you, we’ll have to talk about that as soon as I get back :D Have a great weekend!

  2. Awesome. I love Singapore. I love the bakwa (in front of Yaohan) in Orchard Rd, it’s very easy to be spotted as there’s always long lines of people waiting for that sweet, juicy pork jerky, so yummy. I miss walking around Orchard rd, used to spend a lot of time at the Mandarin Oriental, I bet things are different now. I don’t even know where my dentist is :-) , I used to always trying to find excuses for not seeing her whenever I step my foot in S’pore.

I fell in love with Singapore too, Sylvia…too bad we were only there for 4 days clearly not enough time to explore the whole city. Hahahaha I had a good chuckle about your dentist :P it’s more fun to do other things than seeing her!

Ooh, that is right up my alley! I love touristy places. If this is the teaser, there must be some great pics on the horizon. Can’t wait!

LOL Heather, I’m never afraid of heights but when we reached the highest part which is 165 meters which is about 541 feet high and I looked down…my knees feels a bit rubbery hahaha. But it was so much fun, wish we can go back around night time with all the lights on, it’ll be so much more prettier :D
