I hope this reaches you. It has NOTHING to do with what your blog seems to be but I am here by providence so I’ll explain everything if you’ll bear with me.
I am Charles. My wife (would you believe) is Maureen !! We live in Sydney.
Some years ago, whilst travelling in Bali on holidays, we visited a very up-market boutique where we purchased a couple of tablecloths we felt at the time were too expensive but we liked them.
After years of great performance by those tablecloths, (my) Maureen is continually saying “….wish we’d bought more than two….”.
So this morning I decided to shop online for comparable quality products – after hours of beating my head against the proverbial wall….. NOTHING !!!!
Either cloths not made up or tablecloths with prices but no sizes…. it’s almost like someone said ‘thou shalt never buy Batik online without pain….’
At this stage you’re asking “What the hell has all this got to do with me???”
Well…… nothing – except that amongst my 10 or 12 Google searches in which I searched on Batik, Batique, Indonesian, tablecloth, painted fabric, etc., etc., etc….. up popped this pretty face saying “WHO ?…. I’m Maureen….”
Well, I’m a sucker for a pretty face…. the name was some sort of an omen…. we have five grandchildren not unlike Lil’A…… and I too HATE TYPOS !!!
So how could I help myself and not write ??
That said, I know you have nothing to do with Batik in your normal pursuits but my conclusion from reading you is that you would be clever enough and kind enough to at least point us in the right direction.
So if you know or can identify an online seller who might be able to fill our needs (without my having to invoke the services of the FBI lab to navigate through the mire….) I would be eternally grateful to you.
If not and assuming you do get this epistle…. then I hope we might have at least entertained you for a few minutes.
