Friday Flip-offs – Second Week of August

It’s that time of the week again where one can benefited from a virtual detox brought to you by Gigi at Kludgy Mom. Never heard of these before? Then I strongly urge you to come check it out.

Okay…here are my flips:

To the diabetic that runs in my family and caused my Dad some problems with his health…I just found out two days ago that he’s having problem with his right eye. He went to see the company’s doctor and was told one of the blood vessel needs to be looked into by an eye specialist. You see, my Dad works in a rural mining area in Zambia. This means he will have to go to Johannesburg to get that check out. So diabetic…triple flip offs to you! Also if you could say some prayers for him, we would be so thankful!
To that girl…even when I do pray for you every night, that God will forgive your sins and opened up your eyes of the damaged you had caused… but you know what, I’m only human and some days I can’t help but thinking of letting you have a taste of your own medicines and giving you a huge piece of my mind, but NO I’m a firm believer of what goes around comes around. You will reap what you sow…but until then Flippity off to you, biotch! – Forgive me oh Lord!
To Facebook who keep changing their settings! What gives?! Thought I had changed everything so my profile is private. Private means I shouldn’t be getting these stupid notice that a stranger-creepy-looking-guy had poked my profile! That is low to poke someone’s profile! Yuck! You’re such a turn-off nowadays Facebook and the only reasons I kept you there is because of the network for my blog. So yeah Flip-off!
To my elbow – that’s been bugging me with being swollen and throbbing in pain for the past 3 days, Flip-off!
To my lazy behind – flip off! Stop blaming the rain and get off your back do the morning walk again, woman! Flip-off laziness!
To my self pity party – snap outta it already! So what, you don’t get that dream job…move on already oh and for the record, Aunt Flo I’m blaming you too for this crappy feelings. Flip off self pity!

Last Week of July Flips

Time for Friday Flip Offs. Want to know more about it? Head over to Kludgy Mom and link up because she’s awesome like that!

Our beloved internet provider. OMG you has been driving me crazy with your crappy connections. Again, you said you’re cable? Then why on earth would we lose connections every time it rains? And I’m so tired of your same old same old lame way of handling our complaints. Either you dodge my complaints by telling me to do the same thing restart-restart-restart or you simply said “I will forward this to our technical department‘ who by the way, never ever call us back with answer. When I call back I would simply be put through the same loop holes – rinse and repeat! Here’s an idea…how but owning you do are having problems instead of acting stupid once in awhile and stop ping-pong-ing me around? So stupid! I’m on the edge of seriously finding another provider! – Huge mega triple flip offs for you!

To one cell phone provider here. Good Lord! I’m drafting out a complaint letter that will definitely make its way to a national newspaper and a news website here. I’m not their customer, my brother is but it really is misleading your customers the way you handle you international roaming service. Here’s the story, in June when my family and I went to Singapore, my brother had his international roaming opened through the customer service phone line. All went well, we were in Singapore for a mere 3 days. The bill came out to be over $1,000 for 3 friggin days because apparently they did not tell him they would charge a GPRS service per seconds for a stupid Blackberry Messenger Groups while the cell is out of the country? Really?! WTH was that? The fact that they does not disclose this to the customer is what ticked me off…that is misleading and they should have inform everyone before they activate the international roaming services. When I went to their customer service along with my mother they could not answer me when I asked how come that ‘rules’ were not disclose to their customer. So yeah, mega Flip offs to you!

PS: With how bad my internet is I do apologize if I haven’t reply to your comments or do much blog walkin’ in the past few days and with the weekend coming I would be running around town doing things before DH leave for another business trip on Wednesday.

Friday Flip-off ~ Third Week of July Edition

Time for that weekly virtual detox again called Friday Flip-off. Never heard about it before? Then go check out Kludgy Mom.

To the weather: Seriously this is July – almost August actually, so why is it raining every day like it’s December? Rain in Jakarta means traffic will be your worst nightmare! And even when it’s raining every day the humidity is a pain in you knows where. So to these rains – flip off!

To the national electricity company: Here’s an idea – buy real spare parts for God’s sake! Not some cheaply made one then probably you won’t have your power stations blasted out at least once a month and leave people without power for hours like what happened on Wednesday. You raised the electricity prices…fine…we’ll pay for it but if you can’t keep up with the maintenance then it’s so not cool – flip off!

To those “pimps” that use little kids to begs on the street: Get off your lazy behinds and stop exploiting these kids! Not only you exposed these children to dangers on a daily basis but you had given them such a bad attitudes like that one little girl I saw the other day. She tapped on our taxi window and she looked so dirty and frail and my heart breaks. Gave her money but instead of saying thank you she sneered at me because the 1,000 bill I gave her was slightly creased. So you pimps – FLIP OFF!

To money changers in Indonesia: Where is the law that says you have the rights to cut down the exchange rates if the money is creased or folded?! I failed to see the written rules over this. No other countries I’ve been to have this obnoxious ‘policy’ – Flip off!

Friday Flip-off – 2nd Week of July

Can’t tell you how much I enjoy this virtual detox day, a brain-child of Gigi from Kludgy Mom, she provides a way for us to unload what pissing us off weekly.

Head bows, fingers ready….

To that airline that cancel my aunt’s booking 2 days later…For the records we picked you because you were the last option! Pfft! If you stated with big bold letters that you can’t buy tickets online for someone else I’m sure people will avoid your stinking dying airline even more! If that is your rules – then why the heck did you took the credit card info when I enter it and proceeded anyway? It should’ve STOP right there when I enter the credit card info! To say the tickets were confirmed then canceled it 2 days later? That is misleading and just plain annoying! Plus it is so backwards to say we can’t buy tickets for someone else? Bleh! No wonder your airline is going downhill fast! Oh and try to polish your customer service skills instead of ping-pong-ing people that complaints why don’t you try to help solving the problem? It’s almost 2011 so drop the ‘hand-washing’ attitude already! – So triple fingers dancing Flip-offs to you!

To that girl…you know who you are and you took credit for my work by paying me then claiming it’s your stinking creation?! WOW…well thank you very much for teaching me the hard way. Guess what…because of you I had drafted an agreement letter for all my work! – Flip-off!

Almost didn’t join the fun for two weeks in a row

Gigi from Kludgy Mom had provided us all bloggers a way to do an online detox and letting us flipping off things that gets under our skins then hopefully we’ll enjoy the weekend. Brilliant idea!

So let’s get this rollin’…

To most Indonesian drivers…most of you doesn’t even belong on the roads add some rains then 80% of you will turn into an even more pain in you know where. It gets to me every time when you turn on your hazard lights on the highway – while you are driving! Driving as in the vehicle is in a moving condition?! Hello?! It’s confusing not helping at all even if the visibility is low because of a heavy rain. This is why you need to learn the right way to drive instead of paying for your license. Hey, here’s a tips on proper way to use your hazard lights! – Flip off!

To these crabby feelings sponsored by Aunt Flo – take a hike will ya! I hate that even before aunt flo show up she’s already dispatched her biggest sponsor – crabbiness, moodiness and salt-induced cravings. – Flip off!

To that security guy at the mall – who casually asked “Is that your son or your grandson?” Really? Seriously? I know it was at night and kind of dark, I had my glasses on and my hair up because it was so darn hot, but really? Seesh! You should’ve just go for the son part and ditch the grandson! I told him that the Grandmother is in Florida, thank you very much! – Flip off!
